Meet the Founder
A life spent perfecting the last 5% of a finish.
David's career began on London's most demanding refurbishments - projects where decorators are judged on edges, not elevations. That obsession with preparation, masking and brush technique became the foundation of Gharbi Decorating.
Today the studio is trusted by interior designers, architects, developers and private clients across the UK and abroad. The work spans Mayfair penthouses, Chelsea family homes, boutique hotels and corporate headquarters - connected by a single standard: nothing leaves site that David wouldn't put in his own home.
The practice remains deliberately small. David personally leads programme, materials and finish - supported by a hand-picked team of specialists in Venetian plaster, fine-finish spraying and traditional brush work.

2009
Early Years
Trained under master decorators across London's prime postcodes, developing an obsession with preparation and edge work.
2013
Specialist Finishes
Studied traditional Venetian plaster, marmorino and metallic finish techniques to bring European craft to UK interiors.
2016
Gharbi Decorating Founded
Established the studio to serve clients who refuse to compromise on finish quality, programme or professionalism.
